BERLIN — Domestic and international services by the German airline Lufthansa were hit by warning strikes on Monday as it negotiated pay agreements, the airline and trade union Verdi said.
Several flights, including some to Paris were cancelled as a result, a Lufthansa spokeswoman said.
Verdi said 10 flights had been grounded and around 30 others were subjected to lengthy delays.
Among the actions reported was a disruption of check-in in western Duesseldorf, while some 300 technical staff downed tools in Frankfurt.
Verdi is pressing for a 9.8 percent salary increase for more than 60,000 Lufthansa workers, while the Тус компани has offered 3.4 percent plus a bonus.
Talks were to resume on Tuesday.
